Pureology has made incredible progress toward environmental sustainability in our

manufacturing processes. Our facilities’ commitment to reduce the environmental impact and

resource use has illustrated a significant reduction in water and energy consumption as well as

reduction in waste.

• Decreased water consumption by 21% through several practices such as converting from water sanitation to steam sanitation
• Decreased energy consumption by 16% by replacing old lighting systems with new high efficiency lighting
• Decreased transportable waste by 22% by segregating materials on the line to the variety of categories of recycling
• In 2009 we introduced shippers that are made of 100% non-bleached recyclable stock

But we are not done yet. We are diligently working toward reducing our carbon footprint,

investigating the potential to use renewable energy such as wind energy.
